Founder and owner of Round Willow Yoga, Karina is a dedicated professional with 25 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. Born in Argentina and having lived a decade in Hong Kong before settling in the US, Karina’s journey has instilled in her a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives.

After completing her initial 200-hour Hatha Yoga Training in 1999 with renowned Master Kamal (Suresh Kamal Srinivas), she followed with over 500 hours of yoga teaching and over 5000 hours of delivering different fitness disciplines.

Driven by a commitment to putting members and safety first, Karina strives to offer exceptional service and foster inclusive experiences for individuals of all backgrounds and abilities. She approaches her work with humility and a genuine desire to support others on their wellness journey. Karina values building strong relationships and creating a supportive environment where our community can thrive.

As a holistic wellness advocate, Karina is passionate about empowering individuals to prioritize their health and well-being. She believes in the transformative power of movement, breath, and mindfulness as pathways to a fulfilling life. 

Amanda’s journey began in Palos Verdes, but it didn’t stop there. With nearly a decade of yoga practice and over 1000 hours of training under her belt, she embarked on a teaching journey in 2018 in Rishikesh, India. There, she delved deep into the yogic philosophy, discovering the profound connection between body and mind. Amanda’s commitment to teaching stems from her transformative experience in India, where she learned the importance of quieting and training the mind for a balanced life. Her goal is to share this wisdom with others, guiding them towards self-awareness and purpose.

Catie is an over 900 hour trained instructor with most of her studying done in India. She’s very passionate about yoga as a lifestyle and loves spending her time creating safe spaces for folks to explore their connection to yoga on the mat. She believes this practice is the most effective way to balance the mind and heal the body, with the ultimate goal of spiritual harmony and can’t wait to share it with you!

Gaia’s journey from construction engineer to certified yoga therapist and sound healer epitomizes relentless pursuit of personal growth. With over 1,000 hours of intensive training and diverse certifications, she embodies dedication and expertise. 

Continuing her studies under revered Indian practitioners, Gaia deepens her understanding of the subtle body, infusing her practice with unparalleled depth and insight. 

Gaia triumphed over toxic relationships and job burnout, emerging stronger and more passionate. Now, she guides others on their paths of self-discovery with unwavering commitment.

Through transformative workshops and retreats, Gaia empowers others to embrace their potential and live life to the fullest. Her boundless energy and dedication inspire others to unlock their true selves.

Laurel’s story is one of transformation and discovery, rooted in the vibrant beach town of Manhattan Beach. From her early days as a competitive athlete, Laurel’s journey took an unexpected turn when injuries led her to yoga in 2002.

Driven by a thirst for knowledge, Laurel embarked on her teacher training in 2007, diving deep into the world of yoga. With over 1,000 hours of training from renowned institutions like Mukti Yoga School and Yoga Medicine, Laurel brings a wealth of wisdom to her practice

Her teaching style is a blend of ancient tradition and modern innovation, focusing on proper alignment, breath work, and dynamic movement. For Laurel, yoga is more than just a physical practice—it’s a journey of self-discovery and personal growth.

Beyond the mat, Laurel finds joy in nature, rock climbing, and sailing, embracing the beauty of mindful living. She’s a true believer in the power of community and has co-founded wellness events that foster connection and healing.

Nicole received her RYT-200 Hour certification from the YogaWorks Teacher Training program where she was able to study under renowned instructor Chrissy Carter. Here Nicole developed her teaching style of an “alignment-based flow,” vowing to truly teach yoga asanas through proper posture and positioning. She teaches yoga in the hopes of instilling a deeper understanding of mind-body awareness in all of her students. 

She has been teaching yoga for nearly a decade, after attending various studios in NYC. She became inspired to teach yoga due to her forever evolving knowledge in learning to be more open and accepting, both mentally and physically. 

Now, Nicole resides in sunny Manhattan Beach, CA, where in her free time, you can find Nicole walking on ‘The Strand’ with her dog, Peach, biking, hiking, and beaching.

Nicole Abou-Rjeili received her Bachelor of Arts from NYU and her MBA from Baruch Zicklin School of Business.

 

Sarah Walsh’s yoga journey began in 2002 in Toronto. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, her passion for Yoga and the Performing Arts led her to New York City where she lived, studied, and taught for 10 years. After a decade in NYC, Sarah moved to California first to San Francisco and now Los Angeles.

Co-founder of Drishti Yoga International Teacher Training, Sarah also ran a successful private practice in the City. In San Francisco, she taught at various studios in addition to her private and corporate clients.

She has led Yoga Teacher Trainings and Retreats worldwide, including Italy, Goa, Bali, and Costa Rica. She now brings her international training to Round Willow Yoga.

Sarah teaches a variety of classes including Pre-natal, Restorative, Post-natal, and Core-based classes alongside her Vinyasa/Ashtanga offerings. She has been featured in Elephant Journal and Mindbodygreen for her expertise.

Sarah holds YA 200-hour certification in Vinyasa Yoga from Sonic Yoga in NYC and YA 500 hours in Ashtanga in India. She is certified in Prenatal Yoga, Kids Yoga, and Level Two Restorative.

A graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Sarah is also a certified Health Coach. She studied Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore at KPJAYI and completed her mat Pilates training with Balanced Body.

Sarah’s classes offer a blend of physical and spiritual experience, guiding students on a unique journey while supporting their personal growth. She is a mother of two who inspire her every day.
